REVIEWbyU: Black Friday (Cherub, Series 2, Book 3) by Robert Muchamore

Reviewer: Lolz_in_Wonderland
Rating: 4 stars

Black Friday is the third installment in the 2nd CHERUB series- but it was not what I expected.

From Guardian Angel we jump to seven months after the book ends. In this time Kazakov and Ryan have infiltrated the Kremlin and Ryan has a relationship with Natalka.

James Adams is also dragged back in as four agents' advanced driving instructor back on Campus. It was great to see the star of the first series to return, all though he seemed as if he'd matured.

Some others from the cast also return, including Lauren Adams, Kerry Chang, Bruce Noris and a few others. It really seems as if Robert Muchamore tried to bring back some of the others but not put them in the starlight.

At times this book got a bit boring, but the author then had a chapter full of excitement invade the plotline and you instantly wanted to read more.

I give this ★★★★☆ because at times I wasn't happy with how things went or I thought some event was written sloppily. I actually really enjoyed this book and would be happy to read it again and again and again.

REVIEWbyU - Mad dogs, by Robert Muchamore

Book: Mad dogs, by Robert Muchamore
Reviewer: dmedd123
Rating: 5 stars

Mad Dogs is definitely the second best book in the Cherub series. There is a lot of action in it, but the good thing is it's good action with drugs, guns and explosions. I really enjoyed Mad Dogs.

This is probably the worst book out of the whole Cherub series. It really did not have a story line. I could never really get into the book.

REVIEWbyU - The recruit, by Robert Muchamore

About the books reader dmedd123 is a big fan of Robert Muchamore's Cherub series and you'll get to read his thoughts on a few books in the series over the next few days. The first book in the series in The recruit, which he gave 3 stars:

The first book of the one of the best book series I have ever read. The Recruit is kind of a hard book to get into a first but once you're a couple of chapters in it's a really enjoyable book.
