Meet guest author Kate Constable.

Kate is author of the acclaimed fantasy series Chanters of Tremaris as well as winner of the Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year (Younger Readers) 2012 for Crow Country. She has also written three teen books for the popular Girlfriend Fiction series.

New South Wales Premier's Literary Awards 2012!

The winners of the 2012 New South Wales Premier's Literary Awards have been announced. There are awards for various categories, including Adult Fiction, Best Play and Scriptwriting, but what we're most excited about are the categories for Children's Writing and Young People's Writing.

And the winners are....

Kate Constable's Crow Country (Children's Writing)

Penny Russon's Only Ever Always (Young People's Writing)
