I loved this book and found it extremely captivating how it was looking at the scenarios from different perspectives than most of the other books I have read. This book also made me realise that I love to read fantasy because it has completely different plot twists and characters, especially compared to most books written in this era. It also gives you a chance to look at all the things that go wrong in their life, for example when Laurel and David get thrown into a river. Then you compare it to your 'horrible' life and you see that your life isn't that bad. Even compared to a fictional character. And these are just 3 of the many things that this book has taught me.
