And the winners are...

The Boroondara Library 150th birthday book trailer competition has come to a close. Thank you to the entrants who produced a wonderful group of trailers, we certainly appreciate your hard work. Thanks also to the 350 people who voted for their favourite trailers and those who contributed reviews to the blog during the voting period.

First place, and a shiny new iPod Touch goes to Kyle for his production of The very hungry caterpillar.

Second place, and an iPod Nano goes to Tahlia for Charlie and the chocolate factory.

Third place, and an iPod Shuffle goes to Laura for Tess of the D'Urbervilles.

The 2 Librarian's choice awards of $50 vouchers to spend at Readings Books go to Niamhy for a claymation production of The very hungry caterpillar, and Oliver for The Narnia chronicles.

All of the trailers can still be viewed here.
Finally, all reviews submitted during the voting period went into a hat and the winner of a $50 Readings Books voucher is Laura for her review of Year of wonders.

We will be in touch with the winners early next week to organise the prize presentation.

Thanks again to all those who participated. You can of course keep submitting reviews to the blog and if you're itching to make another book trailer we'll show it on the blog but sadly have run out of iPods to give away.

Don't forget that our About the boys and about the girls series of events for boys and girls aged 10+ along with mums and dads are coming up soon. Author Doug MacLeod will be our first guest on 18 May. You can book for that session by phoning 9278 4666.
