Will Grayson, Will Grayson, by John Green and David Levithan

I am a big fan of David Levithan so was excited to read this one, co-written with John Green.  The chapters alternate between writers and from the viewpoints of two characters both call Will Grayson.  The lives of the two Wills intertwine as they orbit around "Tiny", the larger than life (literally), openly gay character who is their common factor.  I found it tricky switching from one character to the other and got a bit irritated with the characters self-absorbed rantings about the meaning of love and life.  Having said this, I did laugh out loud - mostly at the lyrics to Tiny's ridiculously self-indulgent but ultimately inclusive musical.  The ending is overblown and overly emotive but the journey to get there is worth the ride.
