Sent to an all girl boarding school after they are orphaned, they both gradually come to the realisation that their school has a sinister purpose. However when almost everyone around you can read your emotions and thoughts, planning to escape is nearly impossible.  

This is the first book in a duology from author Kiersten White who wrote the Paranormancy trilogy.
