The Den of Thieves is the third book of the most exciting series of all time, the Cat Royal series.
Cat, the main character, has run into a wall in her life. Her home, the Royal Theatre, is about to be knocked down and rebuilt. Some of the workers there are vital enough to be able to stay at the theatre, but unfortunately she isn't one of them. On top of that, all of her friends seem to be off to distant countries, seeking out their fortunes. Determined not to be left behind, she sets out on her own. Misfortunes befall her, but luckily she is saved by one of her friends who still hasn't left, who tries to brighten her mood. Inspired by the encouragement he gives her, she sets out to France, as a scout for her guardian, who wants to know more about the French Revolution.
This review is a little scrappy, with bits hanging off the ends, but I promise you this book is well worth reading, as is the rest of the series. What now?
