ReviewByU! The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

A short and engrossing novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald that captures the glamour - and moral deterioration - of the 1920s in America. If the pristine white palaces of East Egg or the euphoric parties at West Egg aren't enough to capture your fancy, the engaging plot certainly will. F. Scott Fitzgerald creates a vast array of complex characters whose interactions throughout the novel can both appeal and repel. Although the novel is brief, it contains a multitude of metaphors and implications that are hidden within F. Scott Fitzgerald's beautiful and evocative text. Overall, the Great Gatsby is a classic that can be enjoyed by both teenagers and adults.
