Who framed Klaris Cliff? by Nikki Sheehan

Do you have a good imagination? Did you have an imaginary friend as a kid? Who Framed Klaris Cliff is set in a world where imaginary friends are real and adults think they are dangerous. A world where the imaginations of children are being destroyed to remove their imaginary friends permanently. This is exactly what is about to happen if Joseph and Flea can’t prove that Flea’s imaginary friend Klaris is being framed by someone who wants to get rid of her. Strange things are happening in Flea’s household and Flea’s dad is convinced it is because Klaris is going rogue and becoming dangerous. Joseph and Flea have a week to search for the evidence that will save Klaris and Flea’s imagination.

I couldn’t put this book down and read it all in one sitting! The idea that imaginary friends are real was great and Nikki Sheehan made that world seem very believable. There was a twist at the end that made my heart jump when I read it although it wasn’t entirely a surprise. I also kept thinking about this story and the characters long after I had finished reading it which is definitely a sign of a good book.
