The year my life broke by John Marsden

Josh’s world has turned upside down. His parents, having lost all their money, have moved to Tarrawagga, the most boring place on earth.

Lonely and grumpy, Josh finds it hard to adjust to his new life and school.  The interschool cricket match finally gives him  a chance to show off his cricketing talent and gain some respect at the same time.
