REVIEWbyU: After tomorrow by Gillian Cross

Reviewer: Indigo
Rating: 4 stars

The banks have all crashed and everything has changed. Now there's no food in the supermarkets, and armed gangs are attacking anyone who is hoarding food. After their house is raided, Matt's mum decides they must leave Britain to look for a better life in France. But the plan goes wrong when Matt, his younger brother Taco, and their stepdad Justin, are forced to leave mum behind. They leave their home with nothing but their clothes - and Matt's bike. In France, they find themselves living in a refugee camp, with no home, no money and no mum.

A very realistic and too close for comfort dystopian book.

What now?
